Sorry, we never integrated checkpoint / restart into XMPI.
Theoretically, there is no technical reason that it could be done, but
given our limited resources, I doubt that we will be doing it.
If you're looking for how to incorporate cr support into xmpi, have a
look at the source code for mpirun -- xmpi duplicates at least part of
it to launch jobs; it would need to duplicate some more of it to
checkpoint / restart applications.
