Hello Anju,

Thank you for your prompt response. I installed LAM 7.1 (Thanks to the LAM
team for another release!) and used ssh instead, but I had to add my Cygwin
path to the Windows XP path variable to enable lamboot to find hboot. Is
there another way to do this without changing the Windows environment?

Hmm, we have not tested extensively with RSH module on Cygwin. I was
unaware of this little quirk. We used SSH on our test nodes. I will have
to check whether this rshsvc.exe was present on the nodes I was testing
(even though I doubt if this was being used). Could you check if the
problem persists if you use SSH insted of RSH?
