Greetings, and thanks as always to the lam team for their great work.

One request -- Debian has an automatic 'watch' facility which will
alert me of new releases and let me know that the package is out of
date. It basically polls a page or an ftp directory and parses
version numbers. The current directory structure for lam releases
mostly foils this facility. Here for example is what I have now:

# Example watch control file for uscan
# Rename this file to "watch" and then you can run the "uscan" command
# to check for upstream updates and more.
# Site Directory Pattern Version Script
version=2
http://www.lam-mpi.org/7.0/download.php .*lam-([0-9\\.]*).tar.gz debian uupdate

Problem is of course that the version number is in the url
(7.0/download...) as well as the filename.

Would it be possible to setup a page or ftp site with the releases all
referenced in one place?

Take care,
