I would guess not. I think libtool needs to be taught about pgf77.
Still, a newer libtool might be advisable for other reasons.

Yes. I'm not stating that the warning above, which I commented on, has
anything to do with the error which was reported also. It might, but I
frankly don't know. With access to pgf77, it's possible to find out,
however, and using the `edit ./libtool' hack I described in my previous
message might be a first step toward it. Better ask the guys on the
libtool ML for more.
