Hello Dr. Pazur,
I had the same issue and the only work around that I
found was to download a "trial version" of the latest
xlc/xlC compilers and then do the build. Then save
the binaries. This is not satisfactory, because you
cannot recompile the libraries later, so you might
want to consider investing in the compilers
permanently. They are over priced, but they will
compile lam without issues.
