Nancy --
You might want to read the IRIX notes in the LAM Installation Guide;
the -LANG:std flag is described there, for example.
Can you be more specific in what exactly is failing to link here? You
have no provided enough output to tell what is going wrong (or where or
how).
As a first step, you might want to "make clean all" -- this will ensure
that you aren't mixing results from running configure multiple times.
See if this fixes the problem.
If it doesn't, please see the "Troubleshooting" section of the LAM
Installation Guide for a list of the information that we need to help
diagnose your problems.
