Hi List!
I am trying to make lam 6.5.9 work. The installation goes without
problems. I have my directory where I tar -xf ... and another where I
installed binaries and so.

When I type

>make examples

I get the error:

make[1]: Entering directory `/home/psoto/lam-6.5.9/examples'
Making all in alltoall
make[2]: Entering directory `/home/psoto/lam-6.5.9/examples/alltoall'
mpicc -I../../share/include -O -c `test -f alltoall.c || echo
'./'`alltoall.c

make[2]: *** [alltoall.o] Error 1

make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/psoto/lam-6.5.9/examples'
make: *** [lam-examples] Error 2

I have read in the list that some users have had problems with Red Hat 9.0
(the one I am using) and LAM 6.5.9...

My machine has an Intel Xeon CPU processor and (after uname):

Linux 2.4.20-31.9smp #1 SMP i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

I am using gcc compiler.

Does anybody know how to solve this problem?? or what should I do to make
lam work?

Thanks in advance,

Patricia
