First you should decide which compiler to use for C and fortran on each
platform. The choice may be guided by the requirements of your parallel
applications (performance, portability, etc...).
Then have a look at the compiler guide for each compiler on each platform.
Usually relevant options looks like -i4 for default 32 bit integers (4
bytes) et -i8 for default 64 bit integers (8 bytes).
Then you should configure the LAM install to use these compilers with
these options. The LAM guide explains how to select a compiler and
options. The choice of compiler and options is obviously beyond LAM.
