| Hi,

I have the same problem. I have tried LA-MPI but it is not a very good
choice. The configuration script has some bugs, support for IA-64 does
not work. Moreover, there are lot of hidden bugs. If your application is
communication intensive, LA-MPI will crash after while. I have reported
problems (and some workarounds) to LA-MPI team but without any response.
Finally, I have written very short wrapper which performs threads
synchronization on the application level. So I have "multiple threads
support" for basic routines (MPI_Send, MPI_Recv) from LAM implementation.
