hi,
I am trying to develop a batch queueing system that queues and starts batch jobs. To start a batch job, I need to do a lamboot on the nodes assigned to the job. But if the same node is assigned to two different jobs and the two jobs are submitted by the same user then the same user has to have two lam instances concurrently.
Currently LAM supports this for some batch queueing systems like PBS. But if I need to do this, I read in the manual that I need to manually set the LAM_MPI_SESSION_SUFFIX environment variable. There is no information as to what this variable should be set to or how to do it.
Can any one can help me out with this issue?

thanks in advance,
Satya.
