My lamboot fails to connect remote nodes.
Here is my configuration:
lam-7.0.6 compiled with XLC and XLF on MacOSX-10.3.
nodes: two dual G5, ethernet connection.
rsh is enabled and works in even direction (as a test I tried: rsh
other_node ls -l).
lamboot starts fine separetely on each node, when started with no
hostfiles.
hostfile:
horus.ppce.jussieu.fr cpu=2
khepris.ppce.jussieu.fr cpu=2
lamboot hangs when started with the two nodes in hostfiles:
Here is my laminfo:
When started interactively, the last command (yes ... ) works perfectly
fine, but never ends.
This is consistent with yes man page.
I can do the symetric (lamboot on horus hangs as well at the same point)
Any hints ?
