Is lam installed on all the other nodes? Log in to a node other than
node 0 and type "recon -v hostfile" hostfile here is what you tried to
boot lam with.

If they are installed then you still haven't set your $PATH properly.
It's true about SSH not sourcing .bashrc, another way round this is to
set you PATH in ~/.ssh/environment (see ssh man page).
