Appologies for taking so long to reply; the end of our semester got very
hectic. :-(
I'm not sure what you're asking -- you can have multiple, simultaneous LAM
universes on the same nodes if you wish (i.e., run lamboot on the same
node with different boot schemas). However, you must ensure to set the
LAM_MPI_SESSION_SUFFIX environment variable to something different for
every lamboot/mpirun/etc. You might want to launch each lamboot (and the
mpirun's that use it) in different shells/windows to avoid confusion.

LAM_MPI_SESSION_SUFFIX.
