After spending several hours of trying to figure out why lamboot would
not work with a list of machine names, but does work fine with
"localhost". Basically, it couldn't resolve the local hostname. I
discover some old threads about /etc/hosts having more than one address
for localhost. Sure enough, my Mac was setup for IPV6. Turning that off
allows lamboot to work. I'm just passing this along so that others can
quickly find this. Maybe a note should be put in the FAQ for booting
with IPV6 and how to tell.
Also, is this going to be fixed sometime?
