I did rpmbuild of lam-7.0.5-1.src.rpm on my head node and rpm installed
it OK.
I copied it to a compute node and got:
rpm -i /usr/src/redhat/RPMS/i386/lam-7.0.5-1.i386.rpm [apollo]
error: Failed dependencies:
gcc is needed by lam-7.0.5-1
gcc-c++ is needed by lam-7.0.5-1
gcc-g77 is needed by lam-7.0.5-1
Not knowing anything about GCC, I copied gcc and g77 to /usr/bin on the
node but it didn't help.
[root_at_apollo ~]# uname -m
i686
[root_at_apollo ~]# uname -r
2.4.18-18.8.0smp
[root_at_apollo ~]# uname -s
Linux
[root_at_apollo ~]# uname -v
#1 SMP Wed Nov 13 23:11:20 EST 2002
