Check that content of the /usr/lib/lam/etc/ directory. You are
supposed to find there a file called "lam-conf.lamd" which contains
the process schema and a file called "lam-helpfile" that contains
definitions for messages, both with access rights 644. If you don't
find them there or they don't have the proper access rights, you
should probably install LAM-MPI again. The absence of the helpfile is
not fatal, but the absence of the process schema is.
