What is 7.0.4-2? I'm guessing that you're talking about a Linux RPM? If
so, the LAM Team only issued an RPM with the version 7.0.4-1. If you're
running into a problem with some other version, we may or may not be able
to help you.

This type of problem commonly occurs when you try to mix versions of LAM
(e.g., 6.x and 7.x). You must ensure that your PATH is set to properly
only find *the same* version of LAM on *all* machines that you're booting
across. Specifically, since you're booting with the rsh boot module,
you'll need to edit your "dot" files to reflect this change in path.
See the LAM FAQ for more details on mixing versions (short version: it
won't work).
