This error indicates that either the lam daemons (lamd's) were not booted
at all or for some reason "lamboot" failed. Please read the user
documentation for LAM at http://www.lam-mpi.org/using/docs/ for more
details on how to use LAM to run your mpi programs. Let us know how it
