Sorry for the confusion on our reply; recent versions of LAM include the
"-s" option to lamboot for exactly this purpose. So you should be able to
do:
-----
ssh otherhost lamboot -s hostfile
-----
And it should complete normally. I don't remember the exact version that
we introduced this functionality, but I'm pretty sure it's in everything
from 7.0 onwards.
