Although there is an implementation of the Chandy & Lamport distributed
snapshot algorithm that uses the BLCR package, this package is "supposed
to be" independent of the LAM/MPI core. So, if you want to implement any
other checkpointing protocol, you have to change the LAM/MPI code to be
able to do it (please, correct me if I am wrong).
