Can you specify how to use this command, I searched google and also read the
users guide. It says to just run lamboot in the pbs file.
This is how my pbs script looks now:
<PBS related stuf....>
   lamboot
   # matlab<test-mpitb.m
   lamhalt

I still get following error:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
The hostfile "/rstc/user1/erc/pushkar/mpitb/mpidefconf.m" could not be
found:

        Unix errno: 2
        No such file or directory

Things to check:

        - ensure that the file exists
          try "ls -l /rstc/user1/erc/pushkar/mpitb/mpidefconf.m"
        - ensure that you have read permissions on the file
          try "cat /rstc/user1/erc/pushkar/mpitb/mpidefconf.m"
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
It seems that there is no lamd running on the host
Empire-16-13.ERC.MsState.Edu.

This indicates that the LAM/MPI runtime environment is not operating.
The LAM/MPI runtime environment is necessary for the "lamhalt" command.

Please run the "lamboot" command the start the LAM/MPI runtime
environment. See the LAM/MPI documentation for how to invoke
"lamboot" across multiple machines.

This file: mpidefconf.m doesn't exist but it is specified in my $LAMBHOST
variable.
