Lars,
I see from the debug output that the command being executed is:
ssh -x star48 -n hboot -t -c lam-conf.lamd -d -s -I "-H 11.0.0.47 -P 33427
-n 0 -o 1""
and that there doesn't appear to be any "usage" message output this time
(although it may appear later on "stderr").
The original "usage" message says:
Usage: ssh [options] host [command]
I notice that the (first) "-n" parameter comes AFTER the [command]. However when
I try:
ssh -x my_machine -n echo uname -a
on my Linux system, it does actually work and doesn't produce the "usage" warning.
Try this on your system and see what happens.
Regards
Neil
P.S.
The "-x" parameter on "ssh" is only needed for very old (Version 1) "ssh"
clients. On Version 3 clients "-x" has a different meaning and is the default
anyway.
