The SGE folks have just published a new sge-lam script that does the tight
SGE integration with LAM/MPI. After a long email conversation between the
LAM and SGE folks, we decided that it was tremendously easier to have a
script for SGE integration rather than a boot SSI module. The script is
attached to this mail. It is provided by the SGE folks, not us -- please
contact them if you have questions or problems (contact e-mail address is
in the script).

Two notes:

1. You may need to change the location of perl on the first line of the
script, depending on where perl lives on your system(s).

2. There is a bug in LAM/MPI <= 7.0.4 with regards to running jobs under
SGE. It will be fixed in 7.0.5. In the meantime, you can either grab a
nightly tarball and use that, or use the kill.c that is attached to this
mail -- replace the share/etc/kill.c from your 7.0.4 tarball and
recompile/re-install LAM from your source tree, and you should be good to
go.
