hi,

before I start my clustering project, I would like to
know what distro should I use for my cluster.

rite now, I 'm using RedHAT 9.0 cause thats widely
supported.

My cluster setup (planning to)would be:

MASTER:
RED HAT 9.0 will "Everything" Installation

Slaves:
REDHAT 9.0 stripped down with the bare
necessities.(about 500 MB).

Is it possible to strip it further down?

Anyway, I just wanted to know if this setup is good or
are there any better ones.

A month back I used SuSe7.3(old!) and was amazed at
the number of "out of the box" clustering solutions
that came packed with it.

I would be getting SuSe9.0 within a week. Should I
change?

or.... Should I move to Debian. I hear many good
reviews about Debian, but the problem is I never have
had experience with deb.

or...should I continue with the existing setup?

Comments welcome.
