It might be helpful if you also send us the log files for both "configure"
and "make" commands. You can do this by redirecting the "configure" and
"make" script outputs to files instead of standard IO.
For bash shell use
#./configure [options] &> configure.log
For csh use
#./configure [options] |& tee configure.log
Similarly for "make". Also please let us know the version of Cygwin that
you are using.
