There are ways to make 7.0 build properly on Cygwin, but run-time things
will break. :-\
Full support for Cygwin has been added at the CVS head, and will be
available in 7.1. You can see http://www.lam-mpi.org/cvs/ to see how to
get a CVS checkout or a nightly snapshot tarball.
