Hello,
Could someone point me to documentation or examples about using the
LAM/MPI profiling layer? I've read the MPI spec, but need more detail. I
couldn't find a section for this in the LAM User's or Installation
Guide.
I am having some trouble using LAM/MPI with the TAU framework
http://www.cs.uoregon.edu/research/paracomp/tau/tautools/.
The TAU MPI wrappers seem to be missed in the link phase (mpiCC, LAM v7)
of my application.
Does LAM use weak symbols to implement the profiling layer? If not,
perhaps the LAM libraries trump the TAU libraries, since the former are
first on the mpiCC command-line.
Incidentally, I did use XMPI to obtain a general picture of the
performance, and found I needed more resolution, into non-MPI code, so
am trying the TAU.
