I know that specialized interconnects exist like Myrinett, Quadric,
Infiniband.... But I have a couple of systems at home that I would like to
cluster that have Fast Ethernet cards as the interconnect. The intent is for
learning purposes...

Does LAM-MPI support typical 100BaseT LAN Cards ?
