Thanks for the reply. liblammpi++.a was missing from the rpm. I looked on
the web and saw it was not even in the list of contents for the rpm? This
is weird because it's the package that came with this version of redhat.

I guess I'll install 7.0.2 as suggested.

Hi,

Here are few possibilities I can think of. Your installation might not
have C++ support or the library must have been accidentally removed. If
LAM was installed from binary package (like rpm or debian package)
ensure that all the pieces are installed, in case they are split into
more than one package.

If it is possible for you, I would encourage you to install LAM-7.0.3
as 6.5 series is no longer supported.
