The 7.0.2 installer available on the LAM/MPI web page was build on
10.2. It should install on 10.3, although it is likely that the C++
bindings will not work due to ABI changes between g++ 3.1 and 3.3. We
will probably be releasing 7.0.3 as a bug fix release relatively soon,
at which time we will release a binary installer built on 10.3.
I was able to install the package on a 10.3 machine, with the obvious
C++ issues above. Did you run into a specific problem? I can probably
help you if you provide a bit more information.
On the other hand, it might be safer to build from scratch so that
there are not any ABI issues with C++ code. And since 10.3 uses Perl
5.8, mpiexec will also be available if you build from source.
