Robin,

It has been a while since I've built lam, there may be a
configuration option to include the half a dozen debugging
symbols that TV needs when you compile lam. With mpich it is
--enable-debug.

Let us know at support_at_[hidden] if you are still having
trouble.

DDT is not the answer (* but I am a little biased *).
