No. Unfortunately, it's kind of hard for mpiexec to know what to do if
you don't specify a hostfile. However, there is a "-boot" argument for
mpiexec that will tell mpiexec to lamboot (with no arguments) before
trying to run MPI applications. That should do what you desire.
