Dear All,
 I'v installed LAM/MPI 7.0 to a linux cluster(16 nodes).
(1) When I did lamboot my_host_file, I got the following error message.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
It seems that LAM was not able to remove a directory properly. This should
not happen, and will probably require manual intervention on your part.
tkill was trying to remove the following directory:

        ./lam-cfd_at_[hidden]

when some error occurred. Perhaps the following Unix error message will
help:

        Unix errno: 2
        No such file or directory

This directory contains some internal temporary LAM files, and is safe
to remove. Please go remove it manually.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
(2) "recon", "lamboot -v -ssi boot rsh my_host_file" and "lamnodes", all of
these commands work good.
(3) A hello.c example was passed by using "mpicc hello.c -o hello".
(4) When I ran " mpirun C hello", I got following massage.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
It seems that there is no lamd running on the host master.xx.xxxxx.com.

This indicates that the LAM/MPI runtime environment is not operating.
The LAM/MPI runtime environment is necessary for the "mpirun" command.

Please run the "lamboot" command the start the LAM/MPI runtime
environment. See the LAM/MPI documentation for how to invoke
"lamboot" across multiple machines.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
-

I would appreciate if someone can tell me what I did wrong.

Thanks a lot

Wei
