We have a PII server and 16 PI nodes (Linux 7.2 network with the BASH shell) that we use as workstations for our students. Would LAM-MPI be a useful tool to convert to a parallel-distributed cluster? We need to use the workstations during the day for student use but would like the ability to use the network as a cluster for special projects and in the evenings when the lab is closed.
Do you think your application would work okay on our network? We are novices! Thanks!
