Beware of AFS with ROMIO. I have a dim recollection that there was some
kind of issue with ROMIO's support for files on AFS, but:
a) that could be with a prior version of ROMIO
b) it may have been only with file locking
c) I don't see any notes about AFS LAM's ROMIO distribution (i.e., "cd
romio; grep -r AFS *")
So do not take my word as authoratative -- can the ROMIO guys comment
here? Am I remembering incorrectly?
