Hi,

This is to follow up my previous question.

Whenever I compile any mpi programs using "mpif77", I always get the
warning message:

/usr/lib/libg2c.so: warning: tempnam() possibly used unsafely; consider
using mkstemp()

Jeff Squyres told me that the linker is warning me about the [potentially]
unsafe function "tempnam()" that is used somewhere in my code, or the
libraries that I am linking to. LAM 6.5.9 and LAM 7.0 do not use this
function, so it must be used elsewhere.

I am using LAM 6.5.6. Is the function "tempnam()" being used in LAM 6.5.6?

Should I consider change its version to LAM 7.0?

Thanks very much,
Watit
