Hello,
I run a mid-sized cluster running RedHat 9. We qualify for the unsupported
versions of the Intel compilers, so I will likely be installing them.
Because of the way our cluster is maintained, it's very conveinent for me to
install using RPMs- however, I see that the rpm distributions of LAM-MPI
were built with the default GNU compilers. Would there be an advantage to
downloading source and building LAM-MPI using the intel compilers, or is it
equivalent to just use the RPM but compile our applications with the intel
compilers?
Thanks!
