Yes, it is! I haven't had to change anything in my source code :-)

You are absolutely right. mpif77 --showme indicates that the SUN Fortran
Compiler was not used. The test suite seems to have problems with Sun C/C++
and No-Sun Fortran Compilers.

No, it seems that I don't have a Fortran Compiler installed with the
Sun Workshop. In /opt/SUNWspro/bin I can not find it. Does anybody
know the name of the Sun Fortran Compiler (I have never used Fortran)?
Anyway, I try to avoid the problem by reinstalling LAM with flag
--without-fc.
