The three relevant variables here are LAMHCC, LAMHCP, and LAMHF77. They
should be mentioned in their respective manual pages.

However, note that it's not always "safe" to change the underlying
compiler at run-time. If LAM was configured/compiled against a specific
compiler, it may not work as expected if you change to a different
compiler when compiling/linking your application.
