As Ben Webb just posted, this is likely because that RPM is not compatible
with RH 9.0 (I think it was made on a RH 7.1 machine).

LAM 7.0 is coming out shortly, and we'll have properly RH 8.0/9.0 RPMs for
that. Or you can compile from source, or re-compile the SRPM that's on
www.lam-mpi.org.
