About what network bandwith you are talking ???
For a commodity network like 100 Mbit or Gigabit the complexity
inherent in such a behevior probably would far exceed the
performance gain you can await.
And if an application fills a gigabit channel, then buying a
more fitting Network Interface or another architecture (e.g. SGI
has somethin with a X-Bar)
But to be constructive ;-) SCore MPI might adress some channel bonding
issues AFAIK ..., but it is not as widespread as lam mpi ...
