Hello all -
Unless you are actively tracking the LAM cvs development tree, you
probably don't need to keep reading. Development of 7.0 is now on a
seperate branch (cvs tag branch-7-0), with the cvs head being marked as
7.1 development. If you want to continue tracking 7.0 devepment, you need
to add a sticky tag to your tree - on next update, add a -r argument:
cvs update -dP -r branch-7-0
If you want to track the 7.1 development, you don't have to do anything
special.
This does have some implications for nightly tarballs - the nightly
tarballs available at http://www.lam-mpi.org/cvs/ will now be from the 7.1
development tree and marked as 7.1a1cvs.
Hope this all makes sense,
Brian
