        Hi Martin,
        If you are using Borne Again SHell(BASH) then you must use 'export' builtin instead 'setenv'.
        The 'setenv' builtin is part of *csh shells.
        Then : -> user_at_host~$ export LAMRSH='ssh -x' <- is the command line to use.
        You can put this line in '/etc/profile' or in '/etc/bash*'.
        I recommend you to read bash man documentation(only man page may enough) to see what is the
better choice system 'profile' or system 'bash*'.
