The crtcp is the tcp rpi with extra hooks to allow for checkpoint/restart
of MPI applications. At present, the checkpoint/restart functionality is
only enabled if the Berkeley Labs checkpoint/restart package is installed,
which is not currently publically available.
So at present, you probably want to use the tcp rpi.
