There should only be one library installed in $pkglibdir --
liblam_totalview.so (albiet with a few symbolic links and a libtool .la
file). This was done on purpose: liblam_totalview.so is a dynamically
loaded module (loaded by the TotalView debugger); it is not automatically
linked to any MPI program. Hence, it did not seem appropriate to put it
in $libdir.
In the future, this directory ($pkglibdir) will likely also be used for
dynamically loaded SSI modules. LAM 7.0 won't support this, but future
versions will (the newest libtool will hopefully address the shortcomings
in libtool 1.4.3 that prevented this functionality from being included in
LAM 7.0).
