Unfortunately, I don't have enough information to give you an answer, so I
need to ask a bunch of questions :)
* What version of LAM/MPI are you using?
* Does this happen repeatably?
* Is /tmp on a network file system?
* What is in /tmp/lam-jgmb_at_x2/ on that node right before you run lamboot?
