i did ... still same problem ... i am also compiling bunsh of libraries into
object files and linking them using a make file .... would the libraries have
anything to do with this ... they are used to represent large ints and have
nothing to do with LAM or MPI... i am not passing the large ints through LAM
if that is an issue... PLEASE HELP
