The usual case for this problem is when LAM finds an executable of the
same name as your MPI executable elsewhere in your path on the remote
nodes -- and therefore run that instead of your MPI program. See the LAM
FAQ, under "Running LAM/MPI applications", the question "Why doesn't
"mpirun -np 4 test" work?"
