Hi folks
New to this list so I hope you'll excuse (and answer) what should be a
pretty
straightforward question:
Using the recon command, it invokes rsh to one of the other nodes to do an
rsh. Something like:
a% rsh b tkill -N
lam-mpi-6.5.6 is obviously installed on all nodes but when I do:
a% rsh b which fred
which: no fred in (/bin:/usr/bin)
As I recall, tkill and the other mpi commands are installed to
/usr/local/share or somewhere like that. Rather than copy the files or
link to them (both bad practice), I'd like to be able to
set that path. I've already done the obvious things like ensure that the
user who's being rsh'd has the correct path. The trouble is - rsh doesn't
seem to notice it.
Is this a problem specific to certain distributions - mine is Slackware 7.1
(2.2.16). Grateful for any help.
Cheers
Rob
