Thank you for your answer.
yes, there is some sort of an interface for
parallel programing called gm. But that's not a
standard like mpi!
mpi is supported by mpich (another implementation
of mpi) but i'd rather use lam.
Appart being the first mpi implementation i used
(and one never forgetts it) it's more
friendly in some aspects of its configuration.
